Simply rinse the roller heads with nice hot water, add a little dish soap, and lather throughout the roller heads, then rinse it once more with water and leave it to air dry.
You can also pop the damp rollers into the microwave for 30 seconds on a high setting before leaving them out to dry further.
Our roller works best on crusting frosting or icing that is dry to the touch. Allow the icing or frosting to set for at least 10 – 15 minutes, longer if humidity is high, before using the roller to smooth out the surface.
If your cake is frozen, be sure to let your cake thaw completely and ensure that any condensation has dried off. Also, be sure that the roller is completely dry before using it!
Use a light touch of pressure and gently roll back and forth in a smooth motion. Do not press on the surface too hard or roll back and forth rapidly in a small area for too long as this will cause your icing to crack.
Absolutely! We ensure to use only food-safe materials knowing that the roller will solely be used on cakes and other baked goods.
